GSA Alumni Homecoming: Power in Pride 

It’s time to return to our political home and remember what it takes to build safe and inclusive schools for trans and queer youth. GSA Alumni Homecoming: Power in Pride, is a virtual event and fundraiser to elevate and support the next generation of GSA leaders and bring together program alumni who understand what it takes to do the work and create change.

Trans and queer youth are under attack across the country from court decisions that threaten our wellbeing, to legislation that aims to erase us and hurt our families. Trans and queer youth have been targeted by extremists fueled by hate and a far-right political agenda, yet they continue to rise up to create a vision for liberation. 

It is critical we come together to resist the anti-trans legislation taking aim at trans and queer students. With no end in sight, we must harness our collective power as GSA Network Alumni and show up, uplift, and support trans and queer youth fighting to make our schools and communities a safer place to live and exist as our authentic selves. 

Join Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network on June 30 at 5:00 p.m. PST for our virtual alumni reunion where we will celebrate our trans and queer identities and strategize how we can push back against anti-trans rhetoric.
