LuzMarina is a first generation Colombian Peruvian Latina born and raised in Queens, NY. She has brought her passion for justice to a wide range of community contexts ranging from supporting the needs of migrant farmworkers in rural Maine to emboldening LGBTQ2S youth in New Mexico and across the country. LuzMarina views her creative spirit and femme energy as essential elements of the work she is engaged in. She is currently living on Tewa land in the heart of New Mexico. LuzMarina joined GSA Network in July 2018. She brings together partners around the country to foster connection and uplift LGBTQ+ youth and voices. When she is not working, she is being the best femme mami and comrade to her daughter, wife and three dogs.
