Adrienne Spiegel is a lawyer at Public Justice, where she combats gender-based harassment in schools, and advocates for safe workplaces for low-wage workers. She previously assisted marriage–equality litigation and advocacy at the ACLU’s LGBT & HIV Project, raised and disbursed grassroots donations as a board member of the New York Abortion Access Fund, and mediated disputes between neighbors and community members as the Training Director of Harvard’s Mediation Program. Other past roles include leading and supporting outdoor wilderness trips. Through all this work, Adrienne has learned that some conflict is inevitable, that whether and how we face it is up to us, and that candor and curiosity can be transformative.
Adrienne earned her B.A. in Philosophy from Yale College and her J.D. from Harvard Law School. A former rugby player, she now enjoys lower-impact outdoor pursuits. Find her trail-running or grilling in the Berkeley hills.
