Indiana teenager’s suicide raises questions over bullying

FISHERS, Ind. — A suburban Indianapolis school district being sued by the family of a bullied student who committed suicide sent a letter to parents Wednesday, saying school officials took several steps to help the teenager and his family before his death.

Effort Launched to Strip LGBTs From Calif. Education Act

A second effort is on the table to take down California's FAIR (Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, Respectful) Education Act, which will require that the state's public schools teach the contributions of LGBT and handicapped people.
