Javi Asks President Obama to Make It Better

Javi Pinedo, GSA Network intern and recent graduate of Merrill F. West High School, met President Obama last month as part of the White House's 100 Youth Roundtables Initiative.  

Teach LGBT history, contributions in school

GSA Network youth leader and intern, Javi Pinedo, argues for the FAIR Education Act in this ABC 7 News clip.  The FAIR Education (SB 48) would end the exclusion of the LGBT civil rights movement from California's history classes. The bill has already passed the state Senate and Assembly.
