Today, May 17, is the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO). This annual event is especially important for youth this year, as it's focused on ending homophobia and transphobia through education. Late last year, GSA Network Board Member and youth activist Isaias Guzman went to Brazil for the first United Nations Consultation on Homophobic Bullying In Educational Institutions. We're happy to see that international focus on education continue this year, with the "IDAHO Lesson" on creating safer schools for LGBT youth.
